I have always found it amusing when a bowl or glass is labeled for a specific item like “chips” or “whiskey”. I generally shy away from buying things with such labels because I feel restricted by my own desire to follow the label’s specifications to only use this bowl for chips or that glass for whiskey.
That being said, I still absolutely love these types of containers- mostly for the typography, whether it be goofy or tasteful.

This is something I’ve meant to document for a while. Our extremely talented friend River Jukes-Hudson (at Way Shape Form) sent this zine to us around Christmas time. It’s a documentation of the “accidental poetry” of 21 women on a Russian singles website who are seeking friendship/marriage with foreign men. It was fascinating to read, and is beautifully composed. I am so amazed that these prints are from five different artists (Spencer Asah, Jack Hokeah, Stephen Mopope, Monroe Tsatoke, Lois Smoky, and James Auchiah)- the style seems so consistant. To see more prints go to the original post on BibliOdyssey.
