The Kiowa Five Pochoir Prints 1929
I am so amazed that these prints are from five different artists (Spencer Asah, Jack Hokeah, Stephen Mopope, Monroe Tsatoke, Lois Smoky, and James Auchiah)- the style seems so consistant. To see more prints go to the original post on BibliOdyssey.
Christopher David Ryan
I like these works by Christopher David Ryan. I’ve seen his more illustrative work around a lot, but I like these because they feel like more of a departure. Very serene.
Erika Somogyi
I love these paintings from Erika Somogyi… so vibrant and well… magical.

Valcour Pennsylvania Dutch paper placemats
I found these placemats the other day (a set of 100- still in plastic) at my favourite thrift store, but didn’t buy, as I was feeling cheap… I went back today and they were still there! I took it as a sign. If anyone is interested in buying any, email me and I can list them on Etsy. Otherwise they’ll be fun to wrap little presents with. Even though I said I’m sick to death of woodland creatures, I was charmed by the faux crosstitch on these…
Etsy find: Katy Horan
I really like Katy Horan’s work. I found her via her Etsy shop, although her site is more comprehensive. Her work seems to have lovely and undefined folkloric themes.
