So, do you think it trumps this one in the cuteness department?

You may remember me posting this a few weeks ago:
Here is the outcome of this collaboration, which I promised I would document and finally have! You could say I’ve documented their documentation…

I’m very excited. My husband just booked us into the newly opened Ace Hotel in Palm Springs for our 3rd anniversary. It looks like it will be beautiful. Any specific suggestions as to what there is to do and see in Palm Springs? I haven’t been there since I was a child, and all I remember are a lot of date stands where you can get things like “date shakes” (I guess that dates are something you can grow successfully in a desert). Anyway, I’m totally looking forward to it!
My husband took this photo of Sarah Rara when he crashed a drawing collaboration with the Sumi Ink Club (aka Glaciers of Nice, or The Lucky Dragons). Seth contributed a few doodles and jots of his own to this fabric which was used to make tunics for some clothing line (don’t remember which one). I will take photos of the resulting zine that they were kind enough to send at the end of the project, which explores close-ups of the pattern.

My good friends over at Bodies of Water just sent over a link to their music video for “Under the Pines” which was a long time in the making. *Warning there is some fake violence and gore.* Click on the image below for a link to the hi-res version of the video. It’s been pulled, so the image will just take you to YouTube… sorry.

Here are a few photos I’ve managed to take recently…
1. This is a peek of how my garden is looking this month… covered in leaves, but still happy. 2. From a recent trip to the Huntington Gardens 3. A vintage topper for our Christmas tree found at the Goodwill yesterday 4. My cat Milo rolling around on the warm sidewalk
This looks like it will be a lovely exhibition. For more photos go to the Mitsuru Koga site.
