Etsy Picks: Hand-felted oxford slippers

These look so comfy for around the house.  Not to mention stylish.  A little out of my price range as far as slippers go, but a girl can look, right?

New necklaces

A couple of necklaces I just added to the shop… but really want to keep!  The turquoise one also looks really good with the triangle necklace, in my opinion.

Cheap Monday: Clairvoyant Collection

Want them all?  At $35 a pair they hardly break the bank.  I especially love the Night Planner and the Round Glasses.  I love that Cheap Monday is branching out into accessories…   available here and hopefully at some more shops soon.

Update: Osborn Design Studio

Osborn Design Studio has added some gorgeous embroidered boots and oxfords made with recycled huipils to their shop.   Seriously awesome, and not for the timid.

Update: Manu by Lauren Manoogian

I just revisited Lauren’s site for Manu, her jewelry line (a favourite of mine), and noticed that she has started a Tumblr blog for documenting her work. In case you don’t already know, her jewelry is made with very basic office supplies such as tape and paperclips, with stunning results.

Fall 2010 RTW: Generra

I really love the new Generra collection for men.  Leave it to Swaim and Christina Hutson. The way the green and blue colour palette was styled for the show is quite striking, and yet looks very wearable.  Even though I wasn’t as excited about their women’s wear this time around, I really love the men’s.fall 2010, generra, menswear, fashion, design, thelooksee

Bodkin

I really like this line.  Below I’ve combined one look from Fall ‘09 (the top one just because I like it so much!) and some looks from the current Spring ‘10 collection.  They not only have beautiful designs, but they make the effort to source sustainable fabrics.

Brodarte (yes really)

According to Racked NY, Rodarte has released some menswear for the first time ever.  Hot on the heels of their Target collection, they are calling the new mini-menswear line ‘Brodarte’ (which is hilarious) and it can only be found at Opening Ceremony.  I love the Mulleavy sisters.  It’s worth noting that these gossamer knits are definitely more unisex than anything.
