If I had $1,200 to casually spend on a rug, it’d be this one. Then I’d force all of my visitors to remove their shoes before entering my domicile.
i LOVE rugs like this, so strange and full of asymmetry. like, what do all of those weird little symbols and pictures mean? there’s a reason why psychoanalysts love putting rugs in their offices, it’s like staring at the inside of someone’s dream….
apparently they have meaning in some Berber mythology… more than that, i don’t know!
