The Art of Hermann Zapf
October 6th, 2010 | typography, video, vintage, designHere’s a great video presented by Hallmark about Hermann Zapf’s work and the importance of letter form and the “purpose and techniques of calligraphy”. He is enchanting, let alone his incredible talent. The film is perhaps a little slow for a modern audience, but it’s lovely… watch it.

This is great. I like that he works alone in his studio with a pressed white dress shirt with french cuffs and cufflinks (we’re to believe).
